When Should Be The Last Day To Wish Someone A Happy New Year?

Is it January 15th?  Is it sooner?

The generally accepted cutoff date is (today) January 7th. Why? Because by then, everyone has already broken their resolutions and is too busy Googling “how to get a refund on a gym membership” to care about your belated well-wishes.
