Breakups are tough—especially when they take the blender, the good towels, and half the furniture.

Starting over after a split isn’t just emotional—it’s expensive. That’s why the divorce registry is becoming a thing.

One woman, post-11-year marriage, made a wish list of essentials—towels, cutlery, a couch that wasn’t soaked in memories—and her friends pitched in. She saved about $15,000 and got a fresh start (plus an air fryer!).

Now, companies like Fresh Start are helping folks build divorce registries on Amazon. It’s like a wedding registry, but for your comeback tour.

People used to roll their eyes. Now they’re more like: “He got the house—I got the treadmill. Call it even?”

Sounds like she needed a better lawyer!
