Dog rescued from side of Myrtle Avenue bridge

Animal Care and Protective Services

Animal Care and Protective Services made an amazing rescue of a dog that was stuck sitting on the outside of the Myrtle Avenue bridge.

It happened last Thursday and according to the Facebook post by ACPS, two other dogs were found on the same bridge. What the heck!

I have so many questions... how did they get there? Were they dumped on the bridge or near the bridge? Did they climb?

Unfortunately, there don’t seem to be any answers but there is video of this precious animal being rescued... I can’t even imagine how she felt... poor thing.

But kudos to the staff members of the ACPS who rescued her and who rescue so many animals and who all do the work of angels, taking care of them. May you all have a wonderful Christmas and may Myrtle find her forever home soon!
